2P DuraLite (DL) Ultra-Light (UL) composite poles

What make DuraLite™ ultralight composite poles different than other manufacturer’s carbon fiber poles?
- Fibers laid out in matrix to create a sort of “rip-stop” pattern
(Other manufacturers only lay out fibers in one direction so a small crack can quickly propagate and cause a pole failure.)
- Extra strengthening at joints to reduce the chance of a pole failure at the joints.
- Elastomer bumper between joints to help prevent a chip or crack from starting.
